Celebrated Townsville Primary School’s 30th anniversary last evening. The school has educated many young Singaporeans over the years and served the Ang Mo Kio community well. It provides a holistic, values-based education and has established a niche for itself in the creative arts.
There are many good schools like Townsville Primary all over Singapore. We work very hard to give every child a good education, regardless which school he attends. We have created many pathways to success in our education system. Even if students do not get the school of their choice, they still have other good choices. So parents, encourage your children to study hard, but please don’t pressure them too much. PSLE is important, but it is not the be-all-and-end-all in your children’s lives. - LHL
